Monday was the dog day of summer for our four-legged friends in Calgary.

The Doggy Paddle, an annual charity event, allows pups to take a plunge in Calgary’s public pools as a last hurrah for summer. The Calgary Outdoor Swimming Pools Association has organized the unofficial canine holiday to mark the end of the past three summer seasons. Over 300 dogs participate each year, raising roughly $800 for the Calgary Humane Society, according to a report on CBC News.
